Born in Alamagordo, NM - 1963
I currently reside in Greeley and a single Dad of three awesome kids: My tribe consists of my daughter Taylor Anne -14, and two sons Mason William -12 and Cade Thomas -9. My children are the most important thing in my life and I just can’t get enough of them! Aren’t kids FANTASTIC!!! I can browse the toy isle in leisure…Fact is, it’s commonplace to hear one of my kids saying “Dad, stop pushing the buttons…its embarrasing”.
I have been with Regent Broadcasting since 1998 starting with the Morning Show on TRI-102 for several years before taking on the afternoon show at K99 which you can hear live or online between 3P and 7P weekdays if you need a little “country” in your life! www.k99.com. In addition to my live show on K99 I also do the Midday show LIVE on 94.3 MAX FM – Rock of the 80’s and More as well. www.943maxfm.com. I was also the very first morning show on the 94.3FM frequency dating way back to the original days of Z-94.3FM which is now MAX FM.
I started in radio at KBZZ {We called it K-BUZZ believe it or not} in La Junta, CO at the tender age of 15 and have been doing radio and voice work ever since. I have worked in Texas, Kentucky, Kansas, Indiana, Arizona, Montana and Alaska. Yes, I was in Alaska for about 7 years living in Juneau right out of High School {GO LJ TIGERS} and eventually moved to Fairbanks to attend the University of Alaska working full-time at KSUA-Rock 104 and spending summers living in Wasilla and working in Anchorage: “L.A. on Ice” at rocker KWHL {K-Whale}. I have also worked for WKDQ, KNBZ, KNCC, KJNO, WKSS, KTKU…a total of 14 stations, I believe, in my 30 year career.
As far as hobbies go, I enjoy my Custom ’90 FXR [Harley] more than anything else with the exception of my children. Anytime is a good time to ride! I love to golf when I can, fish, play/watch most any sport and love to do anything that involves the great Rocky Mountains including backpacking to the middle of no where!!! I enjoy live music, long weekends, friends and family and cool chilly cocktails on a warm summer evening! I find Thunderstorms/Lightning a turn on and slow drivers in the left lane and spinach major turn-offs! I love Mexican, Seafood and Italian and wash it all down with a chilly Corona; not necessarily in that order though.
